System Navigation¶

MyWestock uses a consistent layout across all pages. Understanding the navigation structure will help you move between modules efficiently.

Page layout¶

Control	Purpose
☰ Menu	Toggle the sidebar on mobile devices
Search bar	Full-text search across locations, products, invoices, GRNs, and transporters
Theme picker	Switch between Light, Dark, and System theme
User name	Displays your name and role; click to logout

The sidebar groups navigation links by functional area. Groups marked Admin only are hidden from other roles.

Back office roles (Admin, Support, Back Office)¶

Quick Update (Station Managers & Admins)¶

Quick Update has its own mobile-optimised navigation. After selecting a location, links are shown for: Morning, Evening, Tank Dips, Deliveries, and the Back-office portfolio view.

Active link highlighting¶

The current page link is highlighted in green in the sidebar. Collapsible groups (Master Data, Administration, Daily operations) auto-expand when you navigate to a page within them.

Breadcrumbs¶

Many pages show a breadcrumb trail at the top (e.g. Sites → D1028 Chivhu Northwood → Day End). Click any crumb to navigate back to that level.

Flash messages¶

Success, warning, and error messages appear at the top of the main content area immediately after an action. They are session-based and disappear when you navigate away.

Colour	Meaning
🟢 Green	Action succeeded
🟡 Amber	Warning — action completed but with caveats
🔴 Red	Error — action failed; read the message for details

Keyboard shortcuts¶
