Offline Mode¶

The Quick Update and Field Capture PWAs include offline support for environments where internet connectivity is unreliable.

What works offline¶

• Viewing previously loaded screens (cached)
• Entering nozzle readings and dip measurements
• Queuing captures for submission

What requires connectivity¶

• Logging in (first time)
• Loading new data (sites, products, nozzle lists)
• Submitting captures (the queue sends automatically when reconnected)

The offline queue¶

When you submit a capture without connectivity:

1. The capture is stored in the device's local storage.
2. A badge shows the number of queued items.
3. When connectivity is restored, queued captures are automatically submitted in sequence.
4. A notification confirms successful submission.

Clearing the queue¶

If a queued capture becomes invalid (e.g. the reading was entered incorrectly), you can clear it from the queue:

1. Open the offline queue panel (tap the queue badge).
2. Tap the bin icon next to the entry.
3. Confirm deletion.
