Meter Adjustments

Meter adjustments record corrections to nozzle totalizer readings. They are required when:

  • A totalizer rolls over (exceeds its maximum value and resets to zero)
  • A meter is replaced
  • A meter reading is found to be incorrect after the fact

Creating a meter adjustment

  1. Go to My site → Meter adjustments.
  2. Click + New adjustment.
  3. Select the nozzle.
  4. Enter:
  5. Date of adjustment
  6. Adjustment type (Rollover / Replacement / Correction)
  7. Amount — positive to add to the running total, negative to subtract
  8. Reason — mandatory explanation
  9. Click Save.

Admin approval

Meter adjustments require Admin or Back Office approval before they affect reconciliation reports.

Rollover example

If a nozzle totalizer's maximum value is 999999.99 and it rolls over to 000123.45:

  • Before rollover: 999876.54
  • After rollover: 000123.45
  • Adjustment: +1000000.00 (to add the full counter maximum)
