Pump Tests¶
Pump tests (also called calibration tests or prover tests) are controlled dispenses used to verify that the pump meter is accurate. The volume dispensed is measured precisely and compared against the meter reading.
Recording a pump test¶
- Go to My site → Pump tests.
- Click + New pump test.
- Select the nozzle tested.
- Enter:
- Date and time
- Measured volume (from prover measure)
- Meter reading (from pump display)
- Variance (auto-calculated)
- Notes
- Click Save.
Accuracy thresholds¶
A pump is considered accurate if the variance is within ±0.5% of the measured volume. Variances outside this range should be investigated and the pump serviced if required.
Pump test results appear in the Day End and in compliance reports.
