Admin¶
The Admin role has unrestricted access to every feature, screen, and configuration option in MyWestock. There should typically be only one or two Admin accounts per deployment.
What Admins can do¶
- Everything available to all other roles
- Global Settings — company name, logo, Postmark email, session config
- Integrations — Business Central OAuth setup and push configuration
- User Management — create, edit, deactivate, and delete any user of any role
- Audit Log — view every action taken by every user
- Quick Update lock override — unlock any locked morning or evening confirmation
- Opening stock — set initial nozzle totalizer readings when commissioning a new site
Access scope¶
Admins see all locations automatically — no location assignment is required.
Best practices¶
- Use Admin accounts only for system configuration and escalated support tasks.
- Create a Support account for day-to-day user provisioning.
- Never share Admin credentials. Each administrator should have their own named account.
- Review the Audit Log regularly to monitor system activity.
