What's New¶
This page highlights new features and improvements in each MyWestock release.
Version 2.6 — June 2026¶
Quick Updates — one record per day¶
A new Quick Updates section in both the Back Office and the Station Portal presents each day's capture as a single header record — one row per service station per day — instead of a long list of individual entries.
- Per-day list showing date, service station, status, number of tank dips, number of confirmations, and the day's net in-tank gain/loss (L).
- Day detail view — open any day to see everything captured for it: all tank dips, pump/nozzle readings and the payment breakdown.
- Powerful filters — search, date range, service station and status — plus CSV export for reporting and audit.
- Gain / Loss report — calculate in-tank gains and losses and view them across all sites, with its own CSV export.
- Site users see only their own service station(s); back-office roles see every site they are scoped to.
See: Quick Updates
Strict daily capture sequence¶
The Quick Update day must now be captured in order, with each step unlocking only once the previous one is complete:
-
Morning Tank Dips → 2. Morning Confirmation → 3. Afternoon Tank Dips → 4. Evening Tank Dips → 5. Evening Confirmation
-
The station home screen shows the five steps as a sequence; steps that aren't available yet are greyed out and locked.
- A day cannot be closed while any step is outstanding — a validation banner lists exactly what is still required.
- Each finalised day advances the next required date to last date + 1; a missed day must still be captured before moving on, so the record stays unbroken.
See: Capture Flow & Rules
Edit & delete deliveries¶
Deliveries logged through the Quick Update flow can now be edited or deleted directly from the Deliveries screen — provided that day has not been locked. Every change and deletion is fully recorded in the audit trail.
See: Delivery Capture
Reset opening stock (re-commission a site)¶
Administrators can now reset a site's opening stock from the Opening Stock screen — unlocking the site, clearing the commissioning baseline and removing its Quick Update captures so the site can be set up again from scratch. The action requires typing the site code to confirm, is blocked if the site already has committed reconciliation data (day-ends, deliveries or adjustments), and is fully audited.
See: Opening Stock
Assign service stations to your team¶
The My Team section now lets you assign one or more service stations to station managers and other site-scoped roles when creating or editing them, so each user only sees and captures for the stations they are responsible for.
See: My Team
Integrity & accuracy hardening¶
A round of behind-the-scenes safeguards strengthens data integrity:
- Adjustments to a nozzle's opening reading now flow through to the "previous reading" shown on the morning capture, so corrections are reflected immediately.
- Reports and analytics now clamp meter-rollover anomalies so a wrapped totaliser can't distort site totals.
- Tighter controls around price effective-dates, user-role changes, and editing already-finalised records.
Version 2.5 — June 2026¶
Quick Update — Date Navigation & History¶
Station managers and administrators can now browse historical capture data across the last three business dates directly from the Quick Update screens.
New features:
- Date chip navigation on Morning Confirmations, Evening Confirmations, Tank Dips, and Deliveries screens — tap any chip to view that date's records.
- Historical lock enforcement — locked records from past dates are always read-only, even for administrators browsing history. Admins must use the unlock override form on the target date before editing.
- Admin backfill support — administrators can pass a
?date=parameter to access any historical date for corrections and backfills. - Past-date badge — a "past date" indicator appears in the subtitle whenever you are viewing a historical record.

My Team — Support User Management¶
Support users now have access to a dedicated My Team section for creating and managing user accounts.
Features:
- Create accounts for Back Office, Retail Manager, Territory Manager, Maintenance, Station Manager, and Field Capture roles.
- Edit name, role, active status, and password for any team member.
- Generate and resend invite / password-reset links — works with and without email configured.
See: My Team
Invite Link Fallback¶
When Postmark email is not configured, the Send reset link and Resend invite buttons now generate a token and display the full invite URL in a notification so it can be shared manually.
Version 2.4 — May 2026¶
Sequential Capture Flow Control¶
The Quick Update module now enforces strict sequential data capture to prevent gaps in the wet-stock record:
- Morning confirmation for day D requires evening confirmation for day D-1 to be locked first.
- Evening confirmation for day D requires morning confirmation for day D to be locked first.
- Opening dip readings must be submitted before the morning confirmation unlocks.
See: Capture Flow & Rules
Evening Confirmation Date Chips¶
Evening confirmation date chips now always display the last three calendar dates regardless of whether data exists — fixing a bug where chips were missing when no evening records had been captured.
Version 2.3 — April 2026¶
Business Central Integration¶
MyWestock can now push data directly to Microsoft Business Central:
- Automatic GRN creation on delivery approval.
- Sales invoice synchronisation from day-end reconciliation.
- OAuth 2.0 authentication with token auto-refresh.
See: Integrations
Tank Dip Chart — CSV Upload¶
Administrators can now upload dip chart calibration data via CSV, replacing manual entry. The upload validates height/volume pairs and flags gaps.
Version 2.2 — March 2026¶
Mobile PWA — Field Captures¶
Station field operators can now capture nozzle totalizer readings and tank dip measurements directly from a mobile device using the Progressive Web App (PWA):
- QR-code login for shared-device environments.
- Camera integration for photo evidence.
- Offline queue — captures are stored locally and synced when connectivity is restored.

Version 2.1 — February 2026¶
Postmark Email Integration¶
Replaced SMTP with Postmark for all transactional email (invites, alerts, notifications). Configure via Administration → Global Settings.
Petroleum Deep Brand Palette¶
Complete UI refresh applying the BP Green / Petroleum Deep colour system across all screens and the mobile PWA.
